The Institute invites applications from Indian Nationals for around 120 Faculty positions in various Departments/Centres at the levels of Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (on contract) in the following  departments/centres :

• Architecture & Planning, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Earthquake Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Hydrology, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Physics, Paper Technology (Saharanpur Campus), Water Resources Development & Management, Alternate Hydro Energy Centre, Centre of Nanotechnology

Pay Scales :

1. Assistant Professor : Rs.15600-39100) with AGP Rs. 8000/-. On completion of 3 years service as Assistant Professor, shall move to  Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9000/-
2. Assistant Professor on contract : Rs. 15600-39100 with seven non (On contract) compounded advance increments with AGP Rs. 6000/- .They will move after 1 year to AGP of Rs. 7000/-
